The 2014 K-popcalypse [Photo Heavy]

We survived the 2014 K-popcalypse! :D (Pssst my GIVEAWAY is still going on :D Join it~)

All of the k-pop fans have been waiting for this moment after the 2014 K-popcalypse began...THE START OF 2015 :D

For anyone who's extremely new to the world of k-pop or anyone who hasn't heard of k-pop at all, you might be slightly confused. 2014 has been deemed the K-popcalypse (the words K-pop and apocalypse mashed together) because of a large series of horrible & unfortunate events such as deaths and the removal of group members.

DISCLAIMER: I'm fully aware of all of the other dramatic events that occurred during the 2014 K-popcalypse and there were way too many to mention them all. I really only mentioned the main ones or the ones that upset me the most. If you want to see the whole list of all of the other 2014 K-popcalypse dramatic events, see allkpop's list HERE.

Keep reading to see my mini 2014 K-popcalypse event list that I compiled from all of the posts I had actually written as these events surfaced~

At least in my head, I remember all of the 2014 K-pop chaos starting in April when the Sewol Ferry crashed. I know that the Sewol is not k-pop related but I remember that it stalled the release of EXO's Overdose music video. A bunch of bratty EXO stans were complaining about how they were upset at how the MV was to be posted late. I actually wrote a post regarding both issues HERE.
Slowly, more drama began to appear through out the year.

In May, for example, I'm sure all of EXO L (EXO's official fan club name FYI) remembers that that's when Kris filed for a lawsuit against SM. I wrote a post about that HERE. And we thought that that would be the end of the EXO drama LOL
Because later on, Baekhyun was revealed to be in a relationship with Taeyeon. And just when we thought it couldn't get any worse, Kris had officially left EXO and Luhan had just filed a lawsuit against SM ENT also. And then Luhan left EXO. As you can probably tell, I needed a major break from EXO. It's kind of upsetting to me to see them missing two members, especially since Luhan was my bias :( If anyone else was Luhan biased, I wrote a post about that HERE if you need closure :)
But outside of the EXO drama, there was so much more.

One horrible event, which I think was the most horrible event of the year (minus the Sewol incident) was the Ladies Code car crash which left Eun B & Rise dead. I addressed that issue HERE. I don't want to bring in too much detail on that issue (read the linked post for more) but watching Eun B's funeral service killed me. I cried so hard while watching it.
All the other drama this year seemed minuscule next to their deaths, but some other events (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER) that stood out to me personally were the following:

Jessica was forced to leave Girls Generation. I addressed that HERE.
Sulli was put on hiatus after her alleged dating & 'pregnancy' scandal. I touched on that HERE
Lee Joon & Thunder will not be renewing their contracts & will leave MBLAQ.
And the most recent drama that hit me pretty hard was BAP filing a lawsuit (as six) against TS Ent. I wrote all about it HERE

Now that 2015 if finally here, the world of k-pop can enjoy a fresh start~ Hopefully this year goes a whole lot better <3
